LAMP Yearbook 2009... 2009's yearbook was produced by the Spring CoOp class--amazing job guys! LAMP Yearbook 2008! Laurie Ryan is organizing a yearbook for LAMP. The book itself will be soft cover and all the inside pages will be color. Any family that wishes to participate needs to send her (via snail mail, email, or drop off at coop) a scrapbook-like page for their family. [Editor's Note: if you're going electronic, save in the highest quality format so the page will print well. See Bethany Barnosky for technical support.] Also, if individuals wanted to do a page for a LAMP-sponsored event they can. Examples would be: Lego league, parent's meeting page, spring co-op, skiing, etc.. Below are some examples of what the pages might look like, but feel free to come up with your own ideas. If you want something really plain...fine. If you want something really busy...fine. If you want only the kids and not the adults..fine. If you want the whole family including the hamsters...great. The estimated cost of a book with 30 pages would be from $5 to $7. As Laurie gets a good idea of how many families are going to participate, she will give a more concrete monetary estimate. The yearbooks will be passed out at the June parent's meeting (graduation, expo, fun family time) so the kids can sign each others' books. Cover contest. We would like to see one of LAMP's students design the cover of the yearbook. The theme....homeschooling. Your children can draw a simple picture or design a fancy computer-generated page. If interested, please send the submission in by mail, drop-off, or email. Suggestions: 1. Make sure not to bring photos etc. right to the edge on either the right or left side. The book will have a glued binding so about a quarter of an inch will be taken up on each side of the page. 2. Label your pictures! 3. Please use 8 1/2 x 11 paper 4. Of course, all pages should be appropriate. We want our yearbook to honor God. 5.
