Classes are coming!

Don’t Forget

If you registered through yesterday, you have received an email with information on how to create your student’s account on Haiku/PSL. This MUST be done with your student’s unique email account. After registering, your student can log in [here].

Almost Ready?
As soon as your student logs into Haiku (under their name, not yours : ) have them check out the “Get Tech Ready” page. We’ll be meeting in Blackboard and you want to make sure you’re ready to hit the ground running. Blackboard tech information can be found [ here ] and you can test your computer setup [ here ]. On Monday I’ll be teaching… not so much available to help get your technology set up. Please plan ahead : )

Parents’ Nights!
We’ve been through a lot in the past week and you might have questions. I get that. If one (or more) of your students are signed up for spring classes with me, please consider joining us for a Parents’ Night! We’ll meet in the classroom, go over grading and expectations, and have plenty of time for Q&A afterwards. Parents’ Nights will, of course, be recorded in case you can’t make it live.

There are three different Parents’ Nights, depending on your student(s) class:

Algebra 2, Geometry, Formal Logic > 7-8pm, Sunday 1/8
Economics & Informal Logic  >  7-8pm, Wednesday 1/11
Consumer Math (or any)  >  7-8pm, Saturday 1/14

Thank You!
Thank you, again, so very much for your patience throughout this transition. I  will be sending out fewer general emails, and spending less time doing tech support, beginning tomorrow. As of tomorrow I get to (re) focus on my classes and my students… and I can’t wait!

See you soon,
